... and the one involving the selling of a chip of significantly inferior condition to the one pictured in the auction are fundamentally different than the overuse of the word "rare", which was the primary subject of the earlier threads here about Dean Clark (regarding which I defended him, thereby, I suppose, making myself one of the "apologizers").

... I believe that what Dean has done in this instance is wrong. I have told him so by private email. I believe Rene was justified in notifying the eBay bidders. I will join in a boycott of Dean's auctions (something I also told him by email) unless and until he rectifies the Thunderbird situation (which he seems disinclined to do).
