Let me see if I have this straight. I'm all pumped up because I'm coming to my first convention of this club I joined so I could learn from and share with other chippers. I'm not a "dealer," so I didn't buy a table and I'm not spending the whole convention hawking my wares. But I do have a pretty good stash of traders, and I plan to attend whatever trade sessions and social gatherings I can.

So now dealers are usually also collectors, so it's OK to trade on the sales floor, but if I see a chip I want at a trade session and I don't have a chip that person wants, I can't just buy it? I have over 60 chips for more than a dozen collectors for deals that have already been made, but rather than paying postage, I plan to exchange some chips for cash in Vegas. (I need the money to buy chips from dealers with tables!) If the first place I see one of these people is at the trade session or on the sales floor, someone's going to get their undies in a wad if we do our dirty little business right there? Or should we take it to the Men's room? (Katie, I have chips for you!)

Can't we keep our animosity on this board where it belongs, and have fun at the convention?
