Hi there again, It's been so long since my last posting, or so I've been told by some. I have some news for those of you who collect riverboat chips and tokens.

First of all, the Lady Luck, formerly in Bettendorf, IA now has new Isle of Capri chips and tokens. The chips are $1, $5, $25, $100, and $500 and the tokens are 50¢, $1, $2, $5, $10 and $25. No word yet on any Grand Openings or the like. Word is also that they will be keeping Roger Craig on and his Sports Bar, which I found rather peculiar.

The Miss Marquette riverboat has discontinued the use of 25¢ tokens in its machines like so many other Iowa casinos. I wonder which one is next on the list? I have no word on the changing of Miss Marquette to the Isle of Capri. Will post when it happens or when I know about it.

The President Casino, Davenport, has been for sale for a while and word is that Isle of Capri has put a bid in on it and has a strong chance of getting it. Not sure what that does for the gaming in the QC area. Will have to wait and see.

Anyone who is interested in obtaining any chips or tokens from the Isle of Capri, let me know how many and what denominations as I will be making another trip there before the next KC meeting. I will sell or trade. Those who will be attending the next KC meeting can hold off on payments or trades until the meeting. Let me know this when you contact me.
