A couple of nights ago I posted a question and scan of some chips and offered a $1 QE2 chip to whoever could identify the chips. They are from the American Presidents Line. Which has/had both cargo and passenger ships. They no longer have passenger ships. Several of their ships were used during WWII to transport troops. In fact, they lost two ships due to the war. They eventually went back into the passenger business until the ships were sold in 1972. I am still trying to find out if they had a casino on board or if they were just used in poker games. What surprised me when I got the chips is that they are plastic. It is one of my most prized set of chips.
