The Canyon millennium chips have been available at the casino since they were issued. The release policy all along has been, they are given to people using their players cards when they accumulate 2000 points on it. That amounts to about 8 hours of $5 black jack. THEN, the card dealers and floor personel have been telling the people getting the the awarded chip that the chips are worth anywhere from $100 to $400. The chips that haven't been awarded are still in the casino, not sealed in the vault, still available to "win" with enough play.

......2000 LE's made, and they are telling non-collectors that the chips are worth 100's of dollars when they give them to them. No wonder the non-collector is insulted when you offer them $20 for one!
