Jim, I don't know how long you've been frequenting this bb, or if you even knew who Don Anthony (deceased) was, but he came on this bb expressing himself as you have just did many, many times...along with explaining why he had to "click on" each message. Some of us had also received e-mail from viewers stating that private jokes and tomfoolery should be via personl e-mail in order not to cause the problems as Don used to mention. Recently (within the last year), we've lost some contributors to this bb who are known to share every bit of their knowledge with others. Recently, we've read posts saying it's too bad that some of the more educational posts are being pushed off the index into the archives never to be seen by those with limited viewing time (weekends, only..or only once a week, or so). I've been told via personal e-mail, that this bb lacks the educational flavor they thought it would have because of social content. I've come on this bb to express thoses cries of those who do not wish to make this public themselves. I've not only been shot down for doing so, we've had to read responses such as: "if you don't like what you see use your mouse!!!" We've had Archie (and others... me, too) suggest once you've lost your cookie and it's history to delete that post. Some have even suggested (me) once a message is of no further use to anyone to delete it. Just within the last 48-hours I've been slammed against the wall for trying to correct a spellimg error or two; by deleting the post, and loosing it completely. I never knew this was a problem to some. Most of us are extroverted exhibitionists who enjoy what we do...and some of us are introverted without saying too much but enjoy watching what others have to say and display. It all boils down to one thing: We are going to exprsess our F-R-E-E-D-O-M no matter what someone else may think. Personally, I get tired of seeing some of the better posts lost to the archive in such a short time and I can understand those who no longer wish to contribute. As Greg said: "There are no rules!"
