Gene; I'm not 100% certain of this, and maybe Greg can explain better than I, but it is my understanding that if the lead post is deleted by the originator, then all the post in that thread below his/hers is automatically deleted. The only way the "lower" posts don't get deleted is if they are made independently of the original post.... with a different subject heading. Try this. Delete you post that I've answered and see if my post is deleted as well.
