If you wish to pay for an auction lot as you go, the runner will collect the bid amount plus the shipping costs. The chips will be placed in a club provided bubble envelope, a label that you fill out will be placed on the envelope and that envelope will be mailed on Saturday. If you win two or more lots, each lot will be handled separately. If you wish to run a tab and pay at the end, all auction lots can be placed in one envelope and mailed at a lower total cost. In order to satisfy the state, all lots will be mailed by a club representative and not handed to the buyer to mail on their own. In almost all cases it appears to be cheaper to mail the lot including the insurance costs than it would be to pay the sales tax.
Nate, you can correct anything I've said here, but I think I have it all correct.
