I think you're right about the $1 numbered chips in the small sets being numbered over 100, as the 1st 100 were placed in the big sets. Allen tends to list a total chip count without regard to differentiating between numbered and unnumbered on his website in many cases. I was told today at the casino that there were only 100 unnumbered $1 chips, and that would be consistant with Allen's saying 500 $1 chips were issued.
