I think I know what it was Ralph. At that price, ebay likes to go up in .50 increments. The only time it does not is when the high bid is not sufficient to do so (ex. your $15.03 bid was higher than $15.00 but not $15.50). When you overbid yourself, it did go to the next increment($15.50). If someone else had bid on the chip, it would have gone from $15.03 to $15.53. That is the way I see it anyway.
