...and I couldn't believe it...I mailed out some chips this week...
..and I insured all of them...the mail clerk told me that I was
just wasting my money...that I should instead pay for delivery
conformation...I asked her, "Does the package have to be signed
for to take possession of it?" She said, "Oh! No..it just means
that the mailman swears he put it in the mailbox!"

So we argued for a bit about that and I told her, suppose he "confirms"
that he delivered it...but the package is stolen out of the mailbox?

She said, "Well then you're screwed!" But the most interesting thing
she told me was that even if you pay for insurance...and the item
is lost (or whatever) you have to prove what was in the package AND
prove it's worth buy showing a receipt! When was the last time you
got a receipt from the cage?!

Unbelievable...and sickening...
