....I've been trying to do that with the NHRA. The TV people consider it a violation of coverage rights. ....couldn't even come close to an agreement for web posting one video shot of the track every five minutes. The equipment needed for a new photo feed at a rate of one image every .7 seconds is CHEAP! That's close to a live video data stream, and all expenses, including the continuous e-connection to a laptop would be under $300 a day. You'd have to buy the laptop and pay the guy to set up the camera, someone like me who'd be there anyway. .....we're already doing the same thing thru Yahoo Broadcast for the audio feed from the track PA system with drag racing.

....TV just might be obsolete in the very near future for some of us....
