Isn't this fun! Let's look at an honest chip dealer's eBay auctions and see if we can rip him apart! (Yeah, this IS sarcasm.) I have only a couple of points. #1 Do YOU know the "rarity" of every chip ever made? I don't. #2 Have you looked at Michael Par's other auctions? I have. I look at his auctions every week. I just received a package from him that contained 7 chips. Included in the package was a chip from the Kemah Den in Texas (brown, hot stamped "KD", diamond mold) for which I paid $4.99 in one of Michael's eBay auctions. He auctioned another of these chips a few weeks ago and it sold for $15. Did he close the auction early on my chip because it wasn't going for the same amount? Nope. Why? Because he is honest! #3 What if the facts were reversed? What if he was selling a truely rare chip, but didn't know it, and the price was rediculously low? What would you do? Email him and offer advise? Offer a high price just to be fair? Nope. You would take the chip and run. Then you would make a post here with a pic of the chip so everyone could drool over the chip that you so "honestly" acqiured.
I'm really tired of all the damn nitpicking! I'm interested in collecting chips and learning about the history of the casinos & clubs. I'm REALLY not interested in all the rest of your B__LS__T!
