Just returned from a long four-day weekend in Atlantic City and over 500 messages have been posted on this bb since I left. It would appear that the fireworks in A.C. paled when compared to the ones I missed on this bb!

But rather than re-ignite that unwelcome fuse, I wanted to throw something out that I find astonishing. If you'll all refer to BriaN's superb image posting of the $25 4th of July chip issued by Tropicana over the weekend, what has NOT been said about this chip is short of incredible. I've read Andy and Gene's post about the high-rollers T.V. show and the large denomination chips that cost under $1 each. I've been told by several different local sources that this beautiful hologram chip cost Tropicana anywhere between $8 to $11 EACH from Paulson. Can that be possible?

I personally didn't find out about the $25 Tropicana, OR the Trump Plaza 4th of July issues until word was passed around among those chippers waiting in line for the Claridge issues that were released on Friday. I thought that I would be making a mass mailing tomorrow, but I now have to revise my newsletter to accompany the surprise additional chips released.
