BRADLEY'S BEACH CLUB right here in Palm Beach. The club opened in 1898 and closed after Bradley's death in 1946. I've searched many, many years for chips from this club while actually talking with those who played there as far back as the 20s. All anyone can remember is that the chips were (through the years) Mother-of-Pearl, Ivory and "flat plastic" chips. Some even went as far as saying there was a "BC" on the chip which was the same desiged "BC" as on the front doors. Since the "Season" was only 10-weeks out of the year in Palm Beach, I would think the same chips were pretty much used for the club's lifetime which would probably explain the ivory...such as the ivories found in Saratoga and Hot Springs.
