Though by no means close to the Binion story, hated to see Jack get moved out of Vegas. I feared that Becky would begin the shut down of the Horseshoe and at least use accounting shears to cut off things like the WSOP. But other than to sell off the $10,000 bills, I guess she hasn't been too bad. Still, Jack seemed mroe like his father--a wheeler and a dealer.

Also I suspect there is more to the Illinois story than the reasons given for the denial of Jack's license. That Chicago subburb casino license has been a political hot potato. I'd like to hear more from behind the scenes. I would guess that Jack was not the favorite of the controlling politico whose palms are being greased with "clean" goo.
