Dear William;
The chip your wife found is from an illegal casino which shut its' doors years & years ago. It cannot be cashed in & it's worthless! My wife designs & makes jewelry as well & I know what she did with some dirty, old, encrusted metal overlay red chip from some casino in Las Vegas that some guy Bugsy or Boobie used to hang around in sometime in the 40's or 50's. She first scrubbed the chip so it was real clean & then drilled a hole in the middle of the chip. She could then insert real silver wire, to which she attached some great looking $.25 slot tokens from a boat known as the Dixie Duck. With a little gold spray paint on the entire piece, you would never guess it was a chip. After that she got a cheap key ring, glued on what she had made up & now has a wonderful place for her car key. If your wife would like any more suggestions please feel free to email me at the above address.
