"Is what you describe in your question really what happened?"

Now that is a fair question. My interpretation of the email as it was posted was just that.

Chuck has never denied that his letter was a threat designed to get Rene to raise his prices to be in line with Chucks, rather he talks about his email being private. I have not heard any other interpretation of the email, but I would be open to hear from Chuck what he was saying in that email and why I am wrong.
