Several times over the last few years there have been discussions on the board about storing your chips in flips, what kind to use, etc. Each time someone has presented proof that the soft flips sometimes soak up red ink from the chips. If I remember correctly, this red ink always, or almost always, came from Chipcos.

I now believe it is a problem with the ink on the chip and not the flips. I have several boxes of chips that I don't put on my trade list. Many times when I will get a quantity of new chips from somewhere I'll put one each in these boxes and put them away for later. I've had about 10 boxes of these chips building up for the last 4 or 5 years and I recently dug into them to get ready for the upcoming CCGTCC convention. I had a red chipco in between a white paulson and a white chipco. BOTH of the white chips had absorbed red ink from the Chipco in the center.
