Here's another chance for you all to bone up on trivia in preperation for the convention. In case your not familiar with me, I've had a table at the convention for the last two years and offer discounts on purchases bassed on your knowledge of Nevada casino history.
These are some of the questions that I have prepared for the show. The more difficult of a question that you get correct will be the amount of discount you would receive. These are practice questions for you to study up.
Here goes:
For 5%----It's how many numbers there are on a Keno card.
For 10%---In 1959 the Bird cage was absorbed by what casino?
For 15%---The Cattle Baron in Henderson, open for only three months in 1991, has become this casino.
For 20%---This casino/hotel, opened in 1948 and had the first porte cochere on the Las Vegas strip.
For 25%---It's the alley the Harlem Club of Reno was in from 1948 to 1968.
Well there you have it for tonight. See how you do and stop by at the convention and give it a shot for real.
Play nice, Tim
