George: In the mid to late '80's, I was scrounging around Orange and in one of the bigger stores where they had cases that went to the ceiling, I found boxes and boxes of chips from the Monterey Club including the 25centers you show. Also in the cases were boxes of chips from the Rainbow club. Not being much into casino or club chips at the time, I was able to get the owner to agree to sell me a box of mixed chips ranging from $5 to 25 centers. I have traded most of these chips away though will be bring what is left to Vegas. The reason I tell you this is that there were thousands of these chips available for something like 20 cents a chip. Someone owns those chips and I thus doubt the values placed on them by otherwise excellent guides, including but not limited to Eastmans.
