The Trop will be issuing a $5 Convention chip with a run of 2000.

With the change in management there was some confusion by the new marketing people. They originally only requested 750. Thanks to Dave Harber calling it to my attention we were able to get the Trop to reconsider and increase the issue to 2000. I think we all owe Dave thanks!

Those of you who remember the 1998 issue know the Club went through the entire 1000 chip issue Wednesday night before many people even got to the Convention. Last year there was only about 135 chips left out of a 2000 issue in the cage Saturday night.
