I also hope you mean that efforts by collectors networking will lower the possibilty of new and current collectors being burned by the RARE (unprecedented in this case) occurance of obsolete Colorado chips becoming available in quantity EIGHT years after the casino closed. Finally, I hope you DON'T mean to discourage collectors from collecting Colorado chips. ...but that's what your post looked like it said to me.
Weird things happen everywhere when talking about this hobby, not just in Colorado. I will actively publicly expose what appears to be an action that could or would hurt collectors from my region of speciality in every case, to discourage such activity. .....wasn't too long ago that another Colorado collector went to the authorities about some Binion chips offered to him....
