Red Rooster was located at 3201 So. 5th St. (todays Las VEgas Blvd.So) and was a restaurant and nite club. A 1932 LV directory list the Red Rooster Cafe under the ownership of Alice Wilson Morris - " Ma Morris". The cafe featured a $1.00 chicken dinner. The Red Rooster would continue to operate until 1957 under a variety of Names. It was once described as "Coles Red Rooster" - wher the pavement ends and the West begins - Fun - Jollification - Laughter - How far you wanna go ?.
