They open the French roulette table at roughly 7:00 every night. If you'd like a closer look at the $5000 and $10000 plaques used in the game, get there before the game is running, and watch them stock the table with jetons and plaques.

As a rule, you can't buy jetons at the table for collecting. You have to buy in. There have been instances when the pit has allowed someone who bought in and played to buy one of each jeton they wanted, but overall, they are very protective of those jewels. When I was there June 4th, it was a minimum $100 bet per spin. They may spread a lower limit game during the week, so if you have to buy in and play to pocket a few jetons, at least then you might only be risking $25 a spin.
