Good morning my good friend! I expect to have many non-hobby related discussions at the up coming CC & GTCC convention. I don't view that as being any different than the non-hobby related discussions that happen in this forum. We will meet at the convention because of a common interest, as we do here. We will also talk about other common interests with friends that we've met through the first common interest. As to whether or not such discussions belong elsewhere, there is probably more email being exchanged than you'd imagine, BUT, that shouldn't totally take the place of the freeform discussions that we have here. Posts limited to the discussion of chips only would render this a pretty sterile place. ....a pretty boring place. ....a place without insight into the personalities of those participating. ....a place where some very good friendships might have never formed.
