Now I know what Jim Episale meant by 'get real'. I thank you very much for the info and interpretations. Now it is clear to me as you explained. But I was hoping that there are collectors who lives nearby existing casinos who can get $1.00 chips equivalent to $5.00. But then somebody will argue that the postage for one chip is much much cheaper than the postage for the 5 chips. Again somebody will say that the trade is loopsided or advantageous to the trader that holds the 1 chip compared to the 5 chips.
If I may venture to say that in exchange or trade something like the chips(commodities)are not really equall all the time and in every trade but somehow some personal valuation plays a role in the choice to trade or not to trade.
In other words, outright sale at $7.50 is preferrable than to trade 6 $1.00 current chips?
