This is just a matter of being an informed consumer. No different than going on line and doing all your research and then going to the retail store and buying because you can get a better price, quicker delivery, or save shipping.
Part of the store sales force is to SELL the consumer on buying the product at the store. They need to show why buying in the store is better, or at least perceived to be better. The buyer may want to tell the salesperson that on-line services seem to be a better deal and let the salesperson tell him why it is still better to buy from the store.
