I have run into another twist on this kind of thing. Where you are reminded of the problems with the items not arriving and encouraged to purchase "insurance "
to save "us both" problems if the package doesn't arrive. Only to receive the package with no insurance ever having been purchased. I know that the party is "Self Insuring" But I don't think I want to try to collect, if there is a problem. Just another way to get a few more bucks out of the customer.
