I was just in the hospital a month ago, I hadn't been there in over 30 years. I couldn't stand the 4 hours I was there let alone think about the endless hours of follow-up, surgery, and recovery you've gone through. It's a lonely time and not a very pleasant one at that.

I'm not a spiritual man but I wish you all the best. It's amazing how little we think about what we have until we lose it. I've always taken my health for granted and only recently started thinking about the time I spend with my family, friends, and other loved ones. I just had one of the most enjoyable times in recent history with my two kids on a San Francisco beach.
