A poker table bank in most casinos is an imprest bank. It alwayse has the same amount of money in it.

Starts with say $400 in chips. At any time during the shift it should have a combination of cash, Chips, or lammers, equaling $400.

A change girl also has an imprest bank.

The money in this type of bank is imprest from the main bank. The main bank is counting it at count time from the fill slips signed when the bank is taken out.

Actually a poker table bank is imprested from the poker room cage which is imprested from the main cage. <g>
