This PAYPAL is wonderful.
You sign up, you never have to give out this info again?
If you want to accept a Visa or MC from someone for payment you can. The person sends you the money through PAYPAL and you can either have a check mail to your home or direct deposited to your bank account. It has taken 4 days to be in my account on two occasions.
I was just at a seminar where they sold MERCHANT Accounts for $600.00 plus a $70.00 month service fee. Talk about a rip. With PAYPAL they pay you to join, $5.00 and your referral person $5.00, and no fees ever.
You say what is the catch?
They are working on the numbers. When someone makes a payment, their credit card is charged right away. The money goes to my PAYPAL account and sits there until I tell them what to do with it. I leave some so my credit card is not charged when I buy something but my PAYPAL money is used.
They have signed up something like 2 million people since February and if the average sitting in an account is only $5.00 they have 10 million to invest overnight. Banks do this all the time in Overnight funds. You can read more about it in the link below. Read the magazine articles. They have 5 million invested from Nokia in them and the brains is a Harvard Or some big school graduate.
If you are on Ebay you see them pushing the same thing called Billpoint. But they charge you 35 cents transaction fee + a Percentage.
I have asked Jim if Cc> could take it for annual dues. He said he uses it for Ebay and he is going to check with the Board. Like any other operation gone Big quickly they have had a glitch or two but it appears to be a good deal.
PS I mentioned this about a week ago and suggested you use Greg's email address so he would get the sign up bonus and help support the BB a little.
