Perhaps I need to expand upon this subject. eBay allows for cross collectors to find stuff with a search word that wasn't available when we had weekly online auctions on Prodigy. The forum was there, and when Prodigy classic died, Greg's BB was already up and running strong. But, if a venue for buying and selling collectible chips wasn't available after this forum came to be (and there were a number of online auctions here early on), somebody would have been doing it. eBay is more of a convenience than a necessity, and it's world wide, not firewalled to subscribing members only. The old BB systems have united collectors, the auction sites have expanded the arena for sellers. Again, it was inevitable, but if eBay didn't do it, someone else would have. I just wish it had been me! <G>
