Bob, I find silverware from Beverly quite often, but then again, I live in Northern Kentucky. The spoon you have if it is made by Oneida, probably has "Beverly Hills" spelled out, if so it is from the 70's, at which time there was no known gambling and the club was owned by Richard Schilling, up to May 1977 when it burned killing 165 people. The other type of spoon had just a "BH" on it and were made by the international silver Co., and date from 1935 to 1961, durring which it was run by the Sammy Schrader/Cleveland Syndicate, which, needless to say was the gambling period. Both seem to sell for about the same for some reason, at $10.00 to $15.00 a peice. I have several of each style in my collection, along with a selection of "BH" Beverly hills china, which also dates "35-61" and was made by Shenango China Co., and carries the same "BH" logo as the spoon. The china durring the 70's was not marked in any way, exept for a standard pattern, and was made by the Homer Laughlin Co. Enclosed is a picture of a few of the peices of china. Sorry to ramble on, hope this helped.
