New Mexico Minimums for Roulette

Hi Brian,

I've never played roulette outside my home state of New Mexico. The minimums here are generally either US$.50 or US$1.00 per chip / and US$2-3 or US$5 per throw of the ball. The minimums are the same inside or outside. For example, (on a $5 table) they won't let you put the minimum $5 on the inside, and then put only $2 on the outside. You CAN bet ONLY the inside at $5 if you want and nothing else... but IF you want to bet the outside you have to do the minimum $5 also. You can't 'combine' your inside and outside bets to total $5. They are considered seperate.

We do have 1 newly remodeled casino in the state that has put in a .25 chip minimums/US$1.00 (and beautiful, unique chips!) but it has never been opened to the public. They tell me that the cameras and the table location did not allow for security to get the views they need for the table. They are adding new cameras and hopefully will be open soon. I'm going up there for a BJ tournament this evening and will find out if it is open yet.
