I still consider myself a casual poker player, highest set limit game I've ever played was in Laughlin a week ago Saturday, 2-10 Hold'em. I feel comfortable buying into a game where my minimum bet is 100th of my buy-in, and frankly am not that confident of my poker skills to bankroll a 10-20 or larger legitimate buy-in, given my own set buy-in minimums. Having played as a prop, and was only asked to play 1-5 7-stud, I got used to sessions that could include not being dealt a playable hand for hours. Sit and fold.... They didn't pay enough for me to keep making the round trip to the casino.
I might have to toss a grand at a higher limit game and see what happens.
