Hey Steve,
Is the scanner a parallel port or an USB or a SCSI?
When you first got the scanner, did you get it working using the plug and play - or another way?
If you got it working using the Plug and Play, then you can try the following:
One thing that you might try is right click on "My Computer" (Or what ever you have named it - i.e. the icon that looks like a computer.)
Then select properties.
Select the Device Manager tab
Select the scanner icon and then select the "remove" button. This will remove your scanner from your system...
Now reboot - it should find the scanner once again, and load the driver.
If this doesn't work let me know what the system says...
