Hi Charles,

I used a product called Quick and Bright (actually spelled Quik).
It's just a household cleaner that works WONDERS on all kinds of
stains....I'll give you some examples....I got pen ink on a tee
shirt one time..washed it in the machine and dried it...ink still
there...forgot about it...kept washing it as I wore it...then I
remembered out Quik and Bright...I dampened the ink spot, rubbed
Q and B on the spot and let it sit over night...washed the shirt
and the ink was gone! I was also able to remove and old blood
stain the same way....the stuff is great! And won't hurt the
material...

For the chips, this is what I did....I ran warm water on the chip...
..took a soft labeled toothbrush and scooped up some of the Q and B.
Then just gently scrubbed the chip and rinsed it off...so far the
chips still look good...which is a problem with Sterlings Magic
cleaner I'm told...if you rinse Sterlings off, the chip looks dull as
if a protective coating has been removed. I don't know that that is
what actually happens, but it has been described to me that way.

I haven't seen Q and B in the stores...I bought it years ago at a
home and garden show...I've also seen it on infomercials....it's a
creamy substance...a little more think than lotion...kind of like
Jello....it can be liquified in the microwave with water and put into
a spray bottle....although I don't do that...I just use it right out
of the bucket...

If, for some reason, the chips develope a haze...I'll post a scan but
so far they're just fine...

Katie
