John, I have a little trouble with the odds to the house or
"house advantage" when in poker, the house takes a very small
percentage of the pot and is not a contender in the game....
I also take exception the putting my money up before I see
my cards or portion of cards. Betting before you get any cards
at all with no increase of the bet after the cards are dealt is
to me PURE GAMBLING and consists only of luck...My luck is generally
very lousy. And in poker you "get" odds you don't give them..
It does take a little concentration and experience but Holdem is
basicly really simple and poker is a game of cards and personalities.
Much prefered and the players control the game not the house/////
