Archie, you finally see my point of view. That is exactly why I was so precise in my terms, and why I have different prices for different people. I am trying to "reinvent the wheel" so to speak in the way we newbies trade---to return to the days of old when collectors were in this club for the pure pleasure of collecting.

As far as someone wanting to supplement their retirement income or [youngsters] trying to make a few extra bucks, I have no problem with that.

I am certainly not wealthy, and therefore can only afford to spend a certain dollar amount on my hobby. And save but for a few exceptions, $7.00 is my limit for a $5.00 chip. In order to insure that I can maintain my interest in this hobby, I am trying to find a way to buy chips cheaper. This has worked for me so far. For others, who have a larger income than I, and can or don't mind paying a greater amount for the same chip, than services such as those are available.

And apparently, there are quite a few people willing to pay any amount for a chip. You have 100 people signed up for your chip service, and so far, I only have 53 people requesting the Hustler chips at face value (but remember, the offer has only been on the board for about 12 hours.<g>) But these are 53 people that I can count on for getting me chips from their area for at least an equal trade or to buy at face value. For the life of me, I can't see what I am doing wrong.

True, only a few people collect California chips and just as true, the new chip service is probably the most valuable service offered to us collectors who live outside the mainstream area of Nevada, Colorado, and Atlantic City. Without services such as yours, this hobby would never be as big as it is. So I thank each and every one of you providing this service---especially those of you who sell at affordable prices. <g>
