#4 on your list brings back many memories. We used to put Lauren on the dryer when she had a hard time sleeping. We'd strap her into her carrier, put it on top of the dryer and it worked every time. One thing to remember though, BE SURE you set a timer for yourself because if the dryer alarm goes off while the child is on it they wake up VERY cranky. I know, it happened to us/her on SEVERAL occasions. <g>
