....some pit people will sell, or in some cases, give higher level players roulette chips if asked. IF I were placed in the position of asking for a set from a table, it would be strictly from the point of wanting one of each for a collection. I don't fault anyone for wanting to collect roulette chips for their own collection. I completely understand the "collector mentality". My own problem with some roulette collectors is advocating taking full stacks. Take one for yourself, it doesn't put the casino at a disadvantage concerning their stock of chips nor does it compromise security to a point of true concern.
The world is right, it just doesn't seem fair sometimes.
