This astute seller's description says "Rare obsolete $1 chip from unknown ship".

My not too difficult question is, "if the seller doesn't know where the chip is from, how does he/she know it's rare?" Also, with an opening bid of only $6.99 (not gotten yet) some folks who collect these "rarities" ought to jump on this one as it only has 4 days left to go on Ebay. BTW: The Rarity Index is down to 67 this evening..... As usual, most all of the rarities are from Nevada. Seems like very few places elsewhere have rare chips anymore. (Andy Rooney impression) <g>
