Both chips (Casino Municipal Cannes) date back to at least the 1950s, and were re-valued in 1961 when France introduced the Monetary Reform Act where every 100 French francs then became 1 New franc (N.F.). Casinos had the option of either ordering a new inventory or adjusting the value as you see it.
