If you do insure and need to file a claim, this is all you have to do to get reimbursed from the Post Office.
Obtain a Form 1000 from the P.O. Show value of the items lost. "The Chip Rack" or any other price guide would suffice. Have the person you shipped to either sign the section on the Form 1000 or a letter that they did not receive the item. If you invoice or use e-bay or other auction site, make a copy of the invoice or auction page youlisted the item on and the selling price. Bring these to the P.O. and they will file your claim, AND YOU WILL BE REIMBURSED.
