Gene, Yes, Gov. Edwards was a crook, but at least he was a man, he didn't turn on his friends or any of the other crooks. Eddie Debartola got caught with his hand in the cookie jar, the Feds said ok help us get this politician who has beat us at every turn for almost 40 years and you can keep your money and you won't become someones boy in prison, so Eddie did what he had to do, wore a wire, testified and put a 72 year old man in prison for what is probably the rest of his life. Yeah Eddie is a real standup guy. And there's a lot of people in Louisiana who would disagree with you, the next time you're down there walk into any bar and and voice your opinion about the Gov. You'll find the people of Louisina have an almost fanatical love/hate for the guy. Jim
