Tonight on the late news the local TV stations are reporting
that on Friday 6/2 the Viejas/Commodore Day Cruise Boat shut down
due to lack of customers. The San Diego to Rosarito Beach,
Mexico boat had capacity of 850 but averaged only 200/250 per
trip. Also the ability to dock in Mexico was never operational.
The boat operated only about seven weeks. The news reports say
Viejas had invested 8 million in the operation. I will post more
details after the papers come out tomorow if available.
