My husband was a dealer at the Playboy Casino in the Bahamas in 1982-83 when they were forced to close as a result of Playboys political problems with the British Parliment. I knew the details when we were living there,but it has been a longtime. Fortunately my husband saw the 'handwriting on the wall' and moved to Resorts at Paradise Island before the closing. He was the first expatriate allowed to do that as previously one casino in Nassau could not hire away from another. We still have some of the $25 Silver Jubilee, Playboy International, metal inlay chips from that time.
