I share your frustration with the free Adobe software that came when I bought my new ScanJet 6300. When I scan to print it prints beautiful and crisp, but when I save the scan and use the Adobe to print the scans, the white turns red, and all the weird colors comes out. When I view the saved scan they look pretty and nice but printing it again is just impossible. I have to study the Adobe software maybe it needs to be configured to a certain extent. I check with the salesman I described what I did he said that's the way to do it. I changed cartridges same result.

It is the printing of the save scan that's the problem with me.
