Good Evening:

I just finished "A Walk in the Woods" by Bill Bryson. He mentions an old NH hotel called The Maplewood. This was one of the Grand Hotels in the White Mountains at the turn of the 19th century. Has anyone ever seen a chip from the casino in The Maplewood?

BTW, this book is about his experience hiking the Appalachian Trail. It is a RIOT! Great summer beach reading. Mr. Bryson is a regular at my sister's restaurant in Hanover, NH. She reports that he is gracious gentleman and loves to autograph copies of his books. Not a chipper though.
